When The Trumpet Sounds

1Cor.15.52“It will happen in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, the Christians who have died will be raised with transformed bodies. And then we who are living will be transformed so that we will never die.” NLT

Do you know that an event as described in the scripture above will take place on earth one day, and that when it happens its effect would be felt universally by both the living and the dead?
The Holy Bible teaches that on that day God’s angel will blow a trumpet and the sound will awake and transform the dead, who died in good relationship with Jesus Christ. They will rise up alive from where their bodies had been laid to rest or abandoned to rot. As for the righteous living at the time of this event in good relationship with Jesus Christ, God will also transform their natural bodies into supernatural, celestial bodies, and together with the risen, who died in Christ, they will take their flight home to heaven.
1Thess.4.16“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves.
1Thess.4.17Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. “ NLT.

Did I hear you question when this event will happen, or if at all it will ever be? Well, spare yourself the doubt. God’s word always comes to pass at the fullness of time. The world has witnessed so much of Biblical prophesies which have been fulfilled, and many more which are presently still being fulfilled, so much that we cannot with all honesty say the fewer ones remaining shall not come to pass. For instance:
🙏 The virgin did conceive and bear a son, Jesus Christ, as prophesied in Isaiah 7:14 and fulfilled in Mathew 1:13-23.

🙏Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again from the dead for our justification as prophesied in Isaiah 53:1-12 and corroborated by 1Corinthians15:1-8 after His resurrection.

🙏He ascended back to heaven, as He had earlier said in John 6:62-62, and will return again with the blast of God’s trumpet sound, even as the angels declared to His disciples in Act 1:9-11, while He was physically ascending to heaven in plain sight.

Rev.1.7“Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him–even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the earth will weep because of him. Yes! Amen!” NLT

I may not know for sure the exact time this event will take place, but l know that when the trumpet eventually sounds and the saints are raptured to heaven, the unbelievers left behind in the world will come to realize the followings:
😔That they have lost their only chance of getting right with God
😧That there will be no more super natural blast of a Trumpe to transform and transport anyone to heaven again because “..the last trumpet” would have already been sounded.
😲That the advent of grace had fully run its course during the gentile period, the implication of which is that the gift of eternal life would not be possible to anyone of gentile extraction any longer!

😭That mankind’s unbelief and rejection of God’s warning to repent of their sins and be born again has turned out to their own detriment.

🥵😭 That God’s judgment and eternal damnation has come on the unrepentant sinners at last.

John.3.18 “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son”. NIV.

Why not make the decision now: where will you want to be when God’s trumpet sound?

Are You Ready❓

From the lowly kindergarten class to the lofty lecture hall of the university; from the first day at
the job market to the last day of active work on the job, we have employed our intellect and will at
getting ready for one thing or the other.
From the first cry at the cradle to the last breathe at death, we are either getting ready to live, or else
reluctantly succumbing to death; our lives are, for the most part, a long rehearsal of the basic principles necessary for survival in a temporal, difficult world, and we are soon gone before we have started fully living out our dreams!
Jas.4.14“How do you know what will happen tomorrow? For your life is like the morning fog–it’s here a little while, then it’s gone”. NLT

Have you ever taken thought for what lies beyond the horizon of your earthly life? The grave may hold
the corpse, but not so the soul; for no sooner is it liberated from the corpse than it takes its flight to judgment before the Almighty God who made it.
Eccl.12.7“For then the dust will return to the earth, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.
Eccl.12.8“All is meaningless,” says the Teacher, “utterly meaningless.” NLT.

Are you ready for the journey back home? We spend so much time, energy and recourses trying to live
the best we can in an imperfect society within a dying world when, meanwhile, there’s a grander life to be had in a perfect world, where the eternal God dwells with all of His Redeemed departed from the earth; that is where to be ready for!
Jesus said to those who faithfully followed Him:
John.14.1“Don’t be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me.
John.14.2There are many rooms in my Father’s home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly.
John.14.3When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” NLT

When will you be ready to begin your quest for heaven? Did I hear you say soon? Or, not now ? Alas! You must know that far too often many a soul has walked on the very precipice of eternity, but their treacherous heart had persuaded them to selfish indulgence and wanton living – assuring them that they’d surely live on for many more years and repent at last; but at death they fell headlong into the dark regions of the after life, unprepared for what lies ahead. They went to where the souls of the unrepentant and unsaved must have what’s coming to them in righteous and furious judgment.
Luke.12.19“And I’ll sit back and say to myself, My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!’
Luke.12.20“But God said to him, ‘You fool! You will die this very night. Then who will get it all?’
Luke.12.21“Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.” NLT.

Are you ready? Oh, be ready! for life on earth is full of illusion while the greatest realities, though unseen to the naked eye, lie beyond this
temporal world.

All that has been, all that there is now, and all that will ever be, here in this world, are a mere shadow of the true riches and glory of God’s
heavenly Kingdom. Only Jesus Christ is true and eternal in this world.
John.11.25“Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die like everyone else, will live again.
John.11.26They are given eternal life for believing in me and will never perish..” NLT.

Do you believe this, reader? Would you now be made ready for etemal life by Jesus Christ? If you do, then know that you must be bom again; you must repent of all your sins, confess, sincerely forsake them and then invite Jesus Christ to come into your life and be your personal Lord and Saviour.
John.1.12: “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God — (NIV)
John.1.13: children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God”. (NIV)

The Second Chance

As God’s Children we have so much to give to the world, but with scarcely the willingness to offer them. Your experiences with Jesus Christ is not only meant to be treasured up in your heart; it is most valuable when shared with others in order to help them have their own personal encounter with Him.

PREACH THE WORD!

A Wake-Up Call To Win The Lost

The Church is not the mission field – the world is! We go to Church to learn from the Word how to get saved, and also to help others to get saved as well. Each time you close from Church fellowship just know that you’re stepping out of that auditorium to share with the world what you’ve learned at Jesus Christ’s feet. If you’ve learned nothing valuable to share that’s because the Preacher has nothing valuable to teach; ask God to guide you to a true Christian congregation where the mission to the lost is their heart beat: that’s the mission of every true Child of God.

Before You Do That Thing !

Decisions are drivers of destiny. As you read this now, there are so many decisions being made all over the world but, sadly, with relatively a few of them made in conformance to the will of God and in favour of the values of His heavenly kingdom, as taught by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Decisions are the steering wheel of the mind; the drawing board of the heart where the trajectory of the soul is plotted. As you read along someone is on their way to execute a life changing decision; it could be a girl on her way to abort an unwanted pregnancy. It could be someone on a suicide mission to end it all. It could be some armed robbers on their way to take what belong to other persons.
Job.24.14“When the sun goes down, the murderer gets up–kills the poor and robs the defenseless”. (MSB)

It could be a student with a cheat note on their way to sit for an examination. It could be a business magnet who’s out to make yet another dishonest gain. It could be some fraudsters or corrupt government personnel out
to extort more money from their helpless victims.
It could be a fornicator or an adulterer who’s all
aflame with immoral passion, impatiently waiting for the appointed time of sinful pleasure.
Job.24.15“The adulterer waits for the twilight, for he says, `No one will see me then.’ He masks his face so no one will know him”. — NLT

It could be an ardent gossip with itching ears and a wagging tongue, waiting to hear or to tell the tale that ruins the unsuspecting neighbour.
Prov.26.22“What dainty morsels rumors are–but they sink deep into one’s heart.
Prov.26.23Smooth words may hide a wicked heart, just as a pretty glaze covers a common clay pot.
Prov.26.24People with hate in their hearts may sound pleasant enough, but don’t believe them. “
NLT.

It could be anyone on their way to commit a crime: It might be you!
But before you do that thing, be sobered by the fact that you are in plain sight of the Almighty God before whom nothing can be concealed.
Ps.33.13“The LORD looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race.
Ps.33.14From his throne he observes all who live on the earth.
Ps.33.15He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do.” — NLT

Ps.90.8“You spread out our sins before you–our secret sins–and you see them all.” — NLT

Heb.4.13“Nothing in all creation can hide from him. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes. This is the God to whom we must explain all that we have done.” — NLT

To think, or assume, that God does not exist or that He does not takes any interest in the things we do, say or think would be embracing self-deception as a cheap and temporal escape from the eternal realities we must face at last. Our existence in our natural habitat is sufficient proof of the existence of an intelligent maker and creator; He is Almighty God ! He created all things in heaven and on earth, and has kept all His works under constant surveillance ever since; this includes you – now and always, until your days on earth are expired and you appear before His judgement seat to account for how you lived out the life which He gave to you.
Gal.6.7“Don’t be misled. Remember that you can’t ignore God and get away with it. You will always reap what you sow!” — NLT

Rom.14.12“Yes, each of us will have to give a personal account to God”. — NLT

2Cor.5.10“For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in our bodies.” — NLT

Before you do that thing, remember that sinners do not always get away with the consequences of their sins: the thief who got away on the wings of luck today might die tomorrow under the sword of nemesis. A few minutes of casual sex could turn out to be the beginning of a life of sorrow, shame, and the ultimate vehicle to an early grave. You could be the next victim of sin unless you change that decision ! It is easy to change that decision because you made it yourself. Say no to that antagonizing voice in your mind urging you to go on with it; that’s the devil’s voice! It is within your power to say no to Satan now, and to ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart to deliver you from the power of that sin. Do not let that bad decision to lead you into conflict with the Almighty God; you could end up in hell fire for it!.
Turn to God in repentance because Jesus Christ is waiting to help you begin another life of righteousness, purity and peace with God. You are just a decision away from obtaining His forgiveness and mercy. He is able to save all those who turn to Him in repentance while there is still hope for them. You must remember that tomorrow mostly never turns up for some unfortunate souls. Don’t do that thing!!!

Isa.55.6“Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.
Isa.55.7Let the people turn from their wicked deeds. Let them banish from their minds the very thought of doing wrong! Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will abundantly pardon”. — NLT
1John.1.9“But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong”. NLT

Prov.28.13“People who cover over their sins will not prosper. But if they confess and forsake them, they will receive mercy”. NLT

If you truly and sincerely desire to live a new life, and want to be sure that you can be with Jesus Christ in heaven for ever, then make the decision right now: He is waiting, listening and ready to embrace you to Himself. Talk to Him; Jesus Christ is just a sincere prayer away!
